The marina held a Thunderball Party on Saturday night. Guests were invited to come dressed as a character from the movie. It was quite a happening place. The owner of the marina is the son of the previous owner who had passed away. He is a young man in his 30’s. He went dressed as Pierce Bronson. Bob went as Sean Connery in his “older’ years. Here are some photos from the event.

The dock is completely full as more boaters come in to the marina in preparation for the next front. In fact, I heard the owner on the ratio talking with one 100 ft. boat that the face dock barely has room for that is coming in and then another 116 ft. boat called and said they were on their way. It is going to take more than a shoe horn to accommodate that. Here is a photo of the boat at the dock.

Due to the impending storm front, more boats wanted to come in to this already full marina. They managed to get a 116 ft. boat into what appeared to be a 115 ft. space. There is some overlap. Take a look at this! The owner of the marina bought this Captain a beer!
Everybody at the marina was there to watch this event take place and taking bets. I suggested that they get a bucket of grease from the restaurant to help make it fit.

The good thing is that the 100 ft. boat that was already there, and the 116 ft. boat that arrived, are going to be good buffers for us from the wind. Here is a photo of the storm.

At the head of the dock, there is a fish cleaning station that attack both humans and nurse sharks and rays for remainders. We got some of the lobsters you see here.


The boat next to us has two dogs that were fascinated with the nurse sharks they could see in the water and had to finally be picked up by their owners to get them away before the rain started.
