Light House as we left Cay Cay
We awoke early in order to leave by 7 for our crossing. Final weather reports predicted a nice calm crossing and it was! Always nice when the predictions are right. The weather window closed back up in a day, so we wanted to make it across now.
We are traveling in “sort of” tandem with Lady Belle, although she beat us to Lake Worth by a couple of hours.
We are sad to have to leave the Bahamas, but are looking forward to being back home for the summer with family and friends.

Ssh! Don't tell their bosses what they are out doing
In the morning, Bob put the fishing rods back in and it wasn’t long before we got another fish, however, that one too got away! Finally, we caught two Mahi, one 35” and the other 35.” Our freezer is now full and we had Mahi for dinner! It is a real challenge for us to keep the boat going in the right direction while both of us trying to bring in the fish - that is why we lost the first two. Looks like we are finally getting our process worked out.
