The Pretty Penny spent the last month in Palm Coast Marina in the able hands of our great mechanic Al and wonderful staff at the marina, while Bob took me home to let my back heal. Thanks to a great Chiropractor in Kilmarnock, VA, I felt up to the task of boat line handling. Just to be on the safe side, we asked one of our college-age granddaughters, Casey, to come along on the first week to help me. I'm really enjoying getting to spend some quality time with her.
Our first stop was Fernandina Beach. We love the town and gives us a chance to get off the boat, do a little window-shopping, and some exercise.
I'll be posting this leg of the trip as we cruise along watching out for any friends along the way.

Great to read you blog about the Family Island Regatta. We really enjoyed it last year. Also glad to hear you back is on the mend. Enjoyed your hospitality on your boat at Sampson this year.
