Back to Staniel Cay

We seem to be jumping from island to island in the same area of the Exumas, dodging weather fronts, while we wait for one more package to arrive from the states.

Bob wanted to go check out the south side of Staniel Cay because we had heard about this anchorage from Pete on Scooter who often uses this location during weather fronts. So on a calm day, we took the dinghy around the south of the island to explore this part of the island. Made for a nice afternoon.

Boat named "Emerald" at its dock - this boat could only get to this dock at high tide.

Returning to the "mother ship" at anchor

I purchased another sea bean necklace painted by a local artist named Sarah Honaker. Here is the pretty necklace.

Bananaquit, one of several, that took refuge from the high winds inside a restaurant. We could not entice them to leave the restaurant.
